She graduated from the University of Delaware with degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice before attending Hofstra University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. Since graduating, Melinda has been practicing law on Long Island, where she lives with her family.

Steve has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in information systems, both from Hofstra. He has spent more than 32 years in corporate IT and several years as an entrepreneur.

Steve is also a Certified Buyer Representative allowing him to have additional insights when helping someone purchase a property.
